Juliet Uzor is a seamstress and dressmaker, as well as the 2019 winner of the BBC’s Great British Sewing Bee. In this Live, she teaches you step-by-step how to use a sewing machine to create a statement pocket that can be added to clothing or any other type of sewing project, as well as how to attach it.

If you’d like to join her, you’ll need these materials:

- Mid-weight woven fabric
- Matching sewing thread
- A basic sewing kit
- A sewing machine
- An iron

Prepare your material beforehand by cutting out three rectangles (one in each size) in your fabric of choice:
- 7.5cm x 9cm
- 22cm x 29cm
- 23cm x 29cm
