Thomas Burden is a 3D animator art director who has worked with the likes of Nickelodeon, The New Yorker, Apple and McDonalds. Using Cinema 4D, he creates animations that are characterized by a bright and eye-catching style inspired by a fairground aesthetic, neon signs, and the many toys he was never allowed to have as a child. In this Live, he shares how to create inflatable 3D mylar lettering using cloth dynamics and high resolution meshes.
