Requirements and materials
You don't need any previous drawing experience, as Santiago teaches you to draw from scratch.
For materials, you need: blank paper and pencils, a conventional 2H pencil, a Tortoise and Graphgear pen, colored pencils, disposable Molotow Chisels in 0.1, 0.3, 0.7, a refillable brush, and felt-tips.

A native of Mexico City and raised in Durango, Mexico, Santiago Solís Montes de Oca is a designer, self-taught illustrator, and art director. His work has been exhibited in Europe, South America, the United Arab Emirates, and Mexico. He has a particular interest in making and designing posters, books, projects, and collaborations with professionals from other disciplines where the value lies in the sum of all its creative parts.
He is currently director of the Mano de Papel design studio, coordinator of CASA Ilustración Narrativa, and associate editor at Malpaís Ediciones and Libros de Mano (in the Los Indelibles collection in collaboration with Oink Ediciones).

Sehr schöner Kurs. Der Dozent ist sehr sympathisch und kann gut vermitteln. Es gibt wirklich gute und inspirierende Ideen, allerdings ist das Ganze doch eher für Menschen geeignet, die noch nicht so viel gezeichnet haben. Empfehlenswert, besonders, wenn man gerade mit dem Zeichnen beginnt.

PlusI would recommend this course to beginners who are willing to explore simple ways to engage in drawing and/or illustration. The lessons are easy to follow and clear.
Some aspects largely overlap other Domestika courses I have taken, and I am still trying to figure out how this course will help me to find my style - I guess it all comes down to practice and repetition.
