Introduction
I've always loved reading. One of my favorite quotes of all times is "Words are our most inexhaustible source of magic" (Said by Albus Dumbledore in one of the HP books.)
I've tried writing several times, but I've never had an idea that completely moved me enough to want to write an entire book. I've written a couple short stories (for myself) as well as some fan fiction (that have had decent reception within the fandom.)
But lately I've been having several ideas that could potentially turn into something more, and I knew I needed a little help to get me started. That's why I bought this course, and I could not be happier with how much I've learned, and the inspiration it's given me.

Project Timeless
I had a different book idea when I started the course, but when Paige mentioned being inspired by Adele, I started thinking about what songs I could use as inspiration for an idea.
One of my favorite artists of all time is Taylor Swift, so I started looking at her discography through a different lens, and while listening to her song "Timeless," (hence, the title of the project - Actual title TBD) I came up with the idea of two lovers whose love story spanned multiple lives, this then transformed into something else entirely, but I'm so excited with where it's heading.
The synopsis I'm publishing here isn't complete, not because I don't know what's going to happen, I do. But, because I don't want to reveal too much about the plans I have for this story.
Hopefully one day, people will be able to read it, until then this is all I'll share publicly.
Synopsis:
After a devastating fire that burned down her childhood home, Jayne, a successful writer, finds herself experiencing writer’s block for the first time. Desperate to regain her spark, she begins looking for inspiration in an old journal that has been kept by her family for generations.
The journal narrates the life of the daughter of a nobleman who fell in love with the captain of the guard. But just when they were finally going to be together, he gets tragically killed in battle.
But the journal doesn’t end there. Handed down to other members of the family, the journal now tells countless stories of couples who never get the chance to be together. Intrigued by this, Jayne sets out to find out why it is that they all met similar ends.
With the help of a local historian (Dalton), Jayne begins to research who these people were and why their stories mirror each other so closely.
The more they find out about the couples, the more Jayne and Dalton realize that their lives parallel their own. Does this mean that they're destined to live out another tragic romance? or can they finally make it work?
