Ceramic Jar and Friends

I staged my own still life with objects of varying colors and materials.

I used oil paint, canvas board, acrylic paint, acrylic paint markers, gesso

I started with a coral under painting with acrylic paint and then did my drawing with a green acrylic paint marker.

I used refined linseed for medium.
I blocked out the majority of shapes and colors before applying an additional layer of color.

I tried to strike a harmony between faithful representation and creativity.
