For this typesetting course, I set the text of 'The Abstract Minimalist Poetry of Robert Lax', an excerpt from Chapter 8 of Karen Alexander's Minimalism in Twentieth-Century American Writing,' (2004). Found as a roughly formatted pdf, the substance of the text and Lax's poetry gave me a lot to work with.

I then bound the printed text block in uncoated ivory 280gsm card. I love the scale and the thinness of this object, and the binding which formalises my typesetting exercises for keeps.
