Started my new sketchbook with some playful swatches :)I created some messy marks and swatches to loosen up and relax into creating without judging. This is big for me!I took out my old oil pastels and tried to draw some rocks I found around the house.My neighbours have a rose bush right by their front door so I trie to draw some buds an leaves... I was so happy to also discover an apple tree in the garden because I was so inspired by the plums in this course :D So I tried every material I could find and had fun. These are just some of those I liked the most :)Oil pastels were excellent for relaxing color exploration; I felt like a curious child :DI looked up what birds eat apples-I know it's not the most creative way of thinking but since I had a creative block before.....so I allowed myself to do whatever I need to simply create. SO I drew a lot of birds :)I had so much fun trying different techniques <3These were done with watercolors, oil pastels, masking fluid and some colored pencils :)These are my final pieces so far but I'm not done yet because i've been loving to create these so will def do some more :D
