SUNBRELLA is a leader brand for exterior fabrics who would like to market their fabrics for an interior use as well. This is the reason why we would like to nod toward the world of garden and exteriors in an interior design project. The reinterpretation of interior design elements evokes natural motifs with garden items which are used as interior furniture. In this way, a unique atmosphere is created, almost magic, where visitors will have a sense ofbeing in a interior space but walking around a fancy garden inspired in the landscape gardener Gertrude Jekyll’s gardens.
The garden is made with different elements:
On the ground floor there are three garden wheelbarrows which are transformed in upholstered coaches with Sunbrella fabrics. In the middle, a big carpet as an interior element introduces the balance between the wheelbarrows and some thread rolls.
Along the central stairwell there are hanged elements which remind us a garden. There are fabric lamps with an interior frame made by a bike wheel in order to simulate flower elements.
The walls around are partially covered with wood trellis wrapped with Sunbrella fabrics.
All the colours of the space are organized according to gradient: earth colour and green for the ground floor; flower and spring colours for middle floors; and blue and white sky colours for the top floor.
Gertrude would say that a garden is a great master. It teaches patience, soft supervision; industrial and saving tips; and overall, how to develop a full confidence sense. SUNBRELLA designs and makes with responsibility products with great qualities. They can tell us about the importance of the colour and the balance of a space combining elements. The mix will find harmonies which will make each moment a memorable one.
