Expression 1

This project first came about in 2019 unexpectedly. I had some leftover collages and decided to mess around with color composition. This led to taking a snapshot creating an image I referred to as Expression 1. Inspired by photographer Luis Guillén, muse Destiny Owusu, and three other muses Movakween, Bukola, and kyle Malanda. At the time, I was just drawn to the different color tones clashing so cohesively around these beautiful faces. Intensively pulling you in with their eyes.
It has awakened my love for color, nature, and patterns. I always had this unconscious fascination with nature; it intrigues me and allows different ideation of creation.
