NBA 2K22 _Game Mode Animations

For the second consecutive year, I had the chance to work at 2K on the main menu transitions for the official NBA video game: NBA 2K22

Once again, I got tasked with creating a series of loading transitions to be played every time the player selects one of the main menu modes. This time the idea was more ambitious than the previous year, developing a common theme between all the modes without losing their own identity. We went for a much heavier 3D environment and projection-mapped animation on top of the geometric shapes forming each logo, with some 2D animated details to add to the mix, all wrapped in just 3 seconds each...
