My world a, A Mother’s Legacy encompasses a more Sci-fi, distopic and action element. Where I wanted a world that had the feeling of, Logan’s Run, A Handmaiden’s Tale, fallout, Judge Dread, Blade runners and Mad Max set 200 years after of our time where technology has advanced and is taken over by corrupt corporations when WW3 hit a nuclear fallout pushed people to extinction leaving them sterile because of the radiation where leaving an 8th of humanity of the population fertile and are being hunted. They’re known as the Demeters after the greek goddess because of their fertility overused as surrogates housed in clean hospitals and each wears a shock collar to make sure they don’t escape. Most are captured taken from their families in a divided into factions from the Amazon resistance freeing the surrogates, to the Brethren a religious sect believing that they must repopulate the world. Then there’s the Nomads a group of wanders who have a strict code and wander the wasteland in resource and trade a big thorn in side, for the Iron hounds and allies to the Amazons but enemies of the Dawn-breakers and Sur.co both who control everything. All helped by the technocrats and their strict police force. As well as mutated animals to eat you Radscorpions big scorpions mutated by radiation, with incredibly strong venom and armor-like exoskeleton but that’s the tip of the iceberg, Hellhounds Wolf like creatures that have grown to enormous sizes and are fiercely territorial. Goliaths ginormous humanoid mutants with incredible strength and a thick hide that is almost impenetrable. Sirens , mermaid-like mutants that lure unsuspecting humans to their watery graves.

Now in a divided world escaped Demeters, Mother and son Zara and Alex now face an up hill challenge as they hide from Sur.co or a worse fate, like gobbled by a mutant. They now must find the safety of the Amazon resistance with Sur. Co and the brethren on their tail, but with the help of friends a streetwise kid Mylie and her fox Miles they may make it.

Zara grew up in a unfair world where her parents and with the condition of hyper ovulation making her sought after as a surrogate she was taken from her family but never forgot those lessons of who and who not to trust, she got a better education and passed those lessons taught her the ways of the street on where you can find trust and not straight to Alex. She tried to give her son something of a normal childhood but then she snapped not willing to stand by when Alex was experimented on. She then took Alex out of the hospital and out into the world trying to find the Amazon resistance.
