My project in Digital Painting for Characters: Color and Light course

I wanted to do this character because I like octopuses and calamari. The first was the inspiration of the zoo-anthropomorphic figure and the last for the face. I had some trouble with the palette because the first two I chose were not working when shadowing. So I started that again and did a more elaborate flatting with a different palette for the background, which I believe worked much better. In the end, I think it came out nicely although, I will consider pushing more the facial expressions to make them more dramatic. Great course!! Thank you!
