Virtual Production Supervisor

MR FACTORY is a film and television production company, specialised in Virtual Production which is in high international expansion process and needs Virtual Production Supervisors to develop its international business.

Description:

We need Virtual Production Supervisors to supervise and coordinate our virtual production crews and equipments in the studios we are building in South East Asia.
There will be a first phase of training in Madrid (Spain) and then each supervisor will be assigned to work in one of the countries in which we have Virtual Production Studios.

Knowledge:

The candidates must have knowledge and experience about real time Chroma Key integration, real time 3D and real time color correction. Also with real time tracking systems, lighting, studio lightning, composition and integration.

Need to Know:

- Professional oral and written English
- Technical knowledge of audiovisual equipment, cameras, optics, signal converters, matrixes…
- Knowledge of lighting in studio. DMX light mixing tables, LED devices, HMI…
- Knowledge of Unreal Engine platform, associated with the 3D environments and virtual sets creation.
- Deep knowledge of 3D DCC (Digital Content Creation) tools, especially C4D or Blender, but also Maya, 3D Studio and so on (It’s a must to know at least one of these programs)
- Knowledge about the Tracking process, with tools like; 3D Equalizer, Bojou, Mocha, inter alia.
- Knowledge about color flow in Linear Color Workflow, and ACES, ideally with tools like DaVinci Resolve and/or Live Grade Pro/Studio.
- Knowledge of composition with Adobe After Effects, Fusion or Nuke.
- Knowledge of edition with Premiere, Final Cut Pro X, or DaVinci Resolve.

Nice to Know:

- Blueprints programming in UE4.
- Knowledge about DoP.
- Knowledge about program editor.
- Knowledge about scripts programming to automating tasks, in Python, Lua, Powershell, Apple Script, inter alia (at least one os these lenguajes)
- Knowledge about photogrammetry with Metashape or Reality Capture.
- Knowledge about sound and the sound process in real time with delay lines.

Experiencie:

At least 3 years of experience in a filming studio or a VFX studio

Need to have:

- Three years experience in a filming studio.
- Three years experience shooting in locations.
- Three years experience in some work position or rol in the VFX workflow: Layout, Tracker, Animator, Lighter.
- Learning capacity

- One year experience in some work position or rol in VFX, Layout, Tracker, Animator, Lighter….
- Previous experience in woodwork or painting.

Requirements:

- Driving license B2
- Availability to travel and live outside Spain for 1 to 2 years.
- Availability to work on weekends/holidays
- Valid passport
- COVID certificate for international travels
