Introduction
I started doing photography because I love Mexico's colors and textures, this was the start of the journey.
But I felt like those experiences were only found in very specific streets or markets.
Later on, I took the first photo of this project with a compact camera, the Canon PowerShot ELPH, and I felt like I could do more.
Later, I ordered my Canon R50, and all the photos are made with that one.
This is the first course I’ve ever taken on photography, but I think I can teach my brain to see things no one sees, and to communicate through photography, and that’s what I aimed to do here.

Supplies
Canon Elph Power Shot 360
Canon R50 > Kit lense
Lightroom
The beginning
This photo is not very technical, it doesn’t even has good quality.
I'm used to take my canon compact camera everywhere... and make photos of everything: people, pets, parties... but I never took photograph that seriously... until this photo.
I took this photo of my boyfriend in a random that, but something caught my eye, I think it was the sensibility and hidden smile in his eyes.
This is when I decided I wanted to try more.

A day in my garden
When I learned about shutter speed, I was amazed.
I went out running to my garden with my camera and start taking photos - I made the mistake of trying to use manual focus on a bunch of bees (haha).
You can imagine the disappointment when I realized my photos didn’t have great lighting or focus, but it was okay; it was just the first try.
Even so, here is my favorite photo from that day.

Atlixco through my lense
I took a family trip to Atlixco, and I thought it would be a great opportunity.
However, I never got to step out of my mom’s car because we were headed to a specific event I couldn’t miss.
The beauty of these photos is the fact that I had to look very quickly for things happening.
All the photos in this section were taken from inside her car:

Farm
I was so excited to take photos of cows, in the city you don’t usually have contact with these amazing animals.
This day, was the first time a texture caught my eye: hay.
I tried to capture movement, but also sentiment in the animals.
Here is the result:
(I wish I could upload so much more but Domestika would’t allow me ): )

Finally
This was the last day in my journey of this course.
I took photos of 2/3 of my dogs, the last one wasn't cooperating that day (haha
I enjoyed a lot getting to make my dogs move or catching their attention, but the only thing they trully wanted was to go inside the house again (and I think you can see that sentiment in the photos)

Thank you
I hope you enjoyed this journey as much as I did, thank you.
