Why These Images?

Culinary Art – Food isn’t just about nourishment; it’s about presentation, colors, textures, and the way it all comes together to create something visually stunning. Whether it’s a perfectly plated dish or fresh market produce, there’s an art to it that I admire. "Colors, textures, and flavors arranged like a masterpiece" captures this idea perfectly.
Travel & Discovery – The feeling of wandering through new streets, stumbling upon hidden corners, and observing different cultures is something I deeply cherish. My creative process for this mood board was a combination of visual curation, personal photography, and written expression.

I use Canva for many things in my daily life because I appreciate aesthetics and strive for visual harmony in everything I create. Since I already had a collection of images that I’ve used before to reflect moods and concepts, I started by selecting those that resonated with my vision.

To make the board more personal, I incorporated my own photographs—like my husband posing for me in Mexico to represent travel and a moment of me enjoying pasta in Rome, capturing the art of food. I then blended these with carefully chosen Pinterest images, such as the runner in motion, the woman in a chic outfit carrying bread, and the beautifully arranged groceries that reflect my admiration for color, textures, and composition.

Once I arranged the visuals in a way that felt cohesive, I moved on to the written part, which is something I truly enjoy and consider a hobby. I wanted to express what I find inspiring in each image, so I crafted short texts to reflect those ideas. To refine my wording and ensure clarity, I used ChatGPT to help with grammatical and structural corrections while keeping my original intent intact.

In the end, this mood board became more than just a collection of images—it’s a visual and written representation of what I find beautiful: simplicity, elegance, movement, discovery, and creativity.
