Aquanaut

Aquanaut - A hand built ceramic sculpture that I made towards the end of 2021. A large part of my work is inspired by nature and I'm currently based in a beautiful tropical region in India, and hence ocean elements are a common recurring theme in my work. I am fascinated by Octupuses, their structure and textures and often find ways to incorporate them in my work. While researching some ocean elements I came across vintage scuba gears and was fascinated by their otherworldly design. The Aquanaut sculpture was the result of this obsession with the two elements I described above.
