With these words Leonard Cohen said goodbye to his muse, Marianne Ihlen, who inspired his song “So Long, Marianne.”

We were inspired by his poem “A Thousand Kisses Deep” and used it as the initial premise for this animated piece we designed back in the day, as a small visual poem.
In it we wanted to describe a man's last breath and his journey toward death.
