The Expanse - Identity System

This project explores how identity operates within The Expanse through a system of business cards and their corresponding in-world digital interface.
Rather than focusing on futuristic aesthetics, the design is built around structure, hierarchy and context. Each character is defined by their role, environment and position within a larger system, allowing the visual language to emerge from narrative logic rather than decoration.
The result is a set of interconnected identities that adapt across physical and digital formats while maintaining a consistent and coherent system.

The project focuses on building a cohesive identity system that translates narrative roles into visual structures.
The design process explored how hierarchy, environment and character function could define distinct identities within a shared system. Each element was developed to maintain consistency while allowing variation, ensuring that individual identities remain recognisable within the broader framework.
The final system was applied across physical business cards and digital interfaces, demonstrating how the identity adapts across formats while preserving its internal logic.
