Introduction
The process of making this project was really difficult for me. I struggled a lot to keep the clay pieces balanced and stable because everything kept falling apart. After hours and hours of trying and working, I finally managed to make this sculpture with the idea of using it as a vase.
When it dried, I noticed some cracks on the surface, especially around the neck. I tried to reduce them by adding more wet clay.
My sculpture didn’t turn out the smoothest, but I actually kinda liked how it looked in the end.
Unfortunately, I didn’t have the chance to take photos of it myself. I was so busy packing my things to leave for another country that I couldn’t photograph it the way I wanted to.
A few days after I left, my sister called me with sad news: our cat, Oreo, had accidentally broken the sculpture. Not because he pushed it over, but because his chonkiness brushed against it as he was walking by, and it fell and shattered.
My heart sank when I heard this but there’s nothing I could do.
Still, I asked my sister to take some good photos of the broken statue and send them to me—and to my surprise, her pictures turned out even better than I expected!
So here you see both the sculpture and its final artist! :)))
I hope you enjoy it and please feel free to leave me reviews to improve!
