Lumen is a didactic toy for children based in the experience as support for their creative and knowledge development. The goal of the toy is that the children can be able to create colors just by playing with the projectors by the RGB system. At the same time it is supported with some complements like lenses, prisms, textu- red panels and shapes, that when exposed to the light, they create visual phenomena and explain physically what happens when the ray of light crosses them.
The reason why this toy is interesting is that now a days, children are use to play wiht games that don ́t estimulate their creativity and at the same time, are reduced to a little screen. With Lumen children can estimulate their creativity and imagination creating shapes, shadows and colors in their environment by themsealfs. At the same time it estimulates their learning with the experience of seeing what happens with the ray light in front of them. In the school they are used to learn by the teachers lessons and not by experiencing the actual process. The idea is that with objects like Lumen they can learn from their own experience.
