My project for course: Creative Coding 2.0 in JS: Animation, Sound, & Color

This work was inspired by Van Goths 'Poppy Fields' and is an attempt to make an interactive and regenerative version of it, see original here https://www.vincentvangogh.org/poppy-field.jsp

Each poppy is modelled as a set of points in a particle system which move based on a constant wind blowing from the top right (at random intervals and strengths to give a gental sway) if you tap on the canvas a sharpe blast of wind blows the poppies away before they drift back to their original position

Everytime you view the picutre it changes, the sky, the trees, the poppies even the hedges will use different colours, be different sizes and heights, and be placed in slightly different positions all at random, so you never see the exact same image twice. And the constant random wind force is meant to make the poppies bounce slightly making the picture feel alive.

I intend to make the next version audio reactive, and add some buttons to allow you to regeneraete and save seeds if you find picture you like.
