I enjoyed this class very much! It was very informative and well organized.

This course is so eye opening. I've taken a lot of online tutorials for illustration but this one definitely tops the list. The instructor really has a very simple, structured way to approach any illustration assignment so that you know how to set up your compositions for drawing and color. Highly recommend.

Storytelling is always a constant struggle for me. I always want a cool image, but also that wide, sweeping cinematic feel that hooks you in the moment within a picture. R. Kikuo Johnson's course helps, but only if you put the lessons down on paper. Thumbnails and sketches of ideas as frequent practice is a habit I've developed to practice the 9 storytelling tips.
