I've initially been trained as a graphic designer but soon discovered that my heart lies in painting and illustration. So I went to study illustration in London back in 2007. My particular interest has always been the exploration of different techniques and materials in image making. This has lead to me being an illustrative jack-of-all-trades for several years, which has allowed me to work on extremely diverse projects with very interesting clients and the founding of a professional illustration studio in Graz (Austria) in 2012. After some time I decided to figure out which use of material really works best for me and tingles my artistic sensibility the most and I want to show you what that is and how you can use it to make interesting illustrations yourself.
I have worked with clients such as The Folio Society, Austria Microsystems, The Swiss Engineering Institute, Mare Magazine and the Bank for International Settlements. My work has appeared in Images: Best of British Illustration, Spectrum 26: The Best in Contemporary Fantastic Art, 3×3: The Magazine of Contemporary Illustration and Varoom Magazine.
