David Morales

I am a Colombian architect and notebook artist based between Barcelona and my hometown Ibagué, I feel deeply passionate about the beauty in worldly things, which I try to capture in my notebooks. The first time I took a sketchbook, in the early 90’s while I was in architecture school, was because I wanted to understand the proportions and materiality of the buildings I found interesting. Those notebooks gradually became an inseparable object of my travels and architecture work. In 2018, I started an artistic project called “One Day One Drawing” where I represent my environment, my family and my concerns through a daily drawing.
