Biography
Compared to the Three Merry Boys Dead because it is a trio that begins the masked concerts, Litfiba for the timbre of the voice of the singer Alex and the first Negrita for the sounds and the rather direct lyrics, the Capobranco expresses a rock decided and enthralling, evidently soiled by unmistakable funk rhythms.
The Capobranco was born in Padua in 2012 and the following spring came the first live performances. Only apparently rough and not very accommodating, he does not forget to leave on every occasion a visceral memory of himself.
In 2014 Jetglow Recordings released the first album, Capobranco, recorded at the Rocket Booster Studio in Ponte S. Nicolò (PD) and produced by G.G. Rock. Well received by critics and accompanied by the video of the title track was followed by over 40 concerts in clubs and festivals.
The second studio work is "The Big Zoo", a 6-track maxi-EP released on October 20, 2016, once again for Jetglow Recordings. Registered at Studio2 in Padua, Cristopher Bacco was chosen for production.
In May 2018 the Capobranco flies to Chicago to record the third album. Leading the work at his own Electrical Audio studio is the alternative rock legend Steve Albini.
