Beach Sunset-Inspired Wet Felted Lampshade

Who doesn't love a beach scene?!! Here is another version of a beach-inspired design wet felted from Merino wool fibre and turned into a beautiful lampshade. I particularly love how felt lampshades can look so different: from a matte design when the light is off to literally glowing with colour and organic texture when the lamp is lit!

As well as representing the beach and sea in my design, I really wanted to capture the idea of a beautiful sunset so I've included some bright golden yellow, pink and peach shades of Merino wool fibre in the sky to help represent this. Remember that designs don't have to be completely realistic, they are all about your interpretation of an idea or feel for a beautiful natural scene.
