My course project: Sketchbook design and binding

Hello!
This is my final project for the course.
I created a sketchbook for #urbansketching and pleinair photography with the following final size: 32.5 cm high x 28.6 cm wide. It's a format between landscape and portrait, allowing me to draw and paint different types of subjects. I love square formats.

For the inside, I chose @Hahnem Hahnemühle's 265gsm cold-pressed Bamboo Mixed Media paper. I added green and orange Canson cardstock endpapers and a pocket on the back cover to store keepsakes: leaves, tickets, or any other interesting paper.

I designed this notebook to show the process in the course, so I looked for turquoise bookbinding fabric, one of my favorite colors, to cover it. I added yellow corner protectors to protect the notebook when it's being inserted in and out of my backpack.
And since I'm all about connecting and conveying joy, I added the word "Shine" and brightly colored elements dancing around it, to show different materials with which to decorate the deck.
