Arman Baghdasaryan

I am an Accessory Designer specialising in handbag design, pattern making and construction.

I first entered the fashion industry working at my Aunt’s atelier, sewing prototypes of her garments and learning how to make patterns for women's wear. I learned everything from the creative aspects of design to the technical aspects of garment construction. In order to improve my professional skills, I moved to Barcelona where I got my degree in fashion design and pattern making.
Developing a range of leather accessories as part of my final project ignited my passion for design of handbags and I decided to specialise in accessories (handbags, belts and small leather goods).
In the fashion industry I have worked for a variety of companies large and small, with everything from the creative aspects of design to the technical aspects of garment and accessory construction and product development.
I have experienced working in production and with factories in the far east making accessories and garments.
Thanks to my worldwide experience (Italy, South Africa, Armenia, Spain), language and communication skills, I adapt very quickly and easily.
I can provide full design support for your project including trend consultation, design development, CAD visuals, detailed factory specs, pattern making and creation of the first prototype.

I'm always looking for an accessory/handbag design based job but am also interested in the manufacturing and product development side as well, so would love to hear from you.
