The lady of the lake
Once an upon the time. A young maiden asks to the monster of the lake.
''Please monster, I conjure you to do my will, Make the king take me as a wife.''
The Lake monster respond " what you would give me in exchange?"
'' I have no prospect replay the girl, I am poor.''
The creature thinks "well, he said," give me your first child. He will be well and safe."
And the King will take me as wife Asked the maiden?
Yes, the monster said the King will be yours forever.
The maiden agreed, as her wishes come true, she married the King.
A year later, from the union, a little girl was born. The maiden now who is queen kept her promises and gave the newborn in the act of lying that the child died.
Many years have passed, the child has grown up, she has become a beautiful young woman who lives in the swamp barefoot and swims all day with no voice. The monster falls in love with her innocence and beauty.
One day, a young soldier from another realm who went to see the King crossed the swamps. But humans are sometimes cruel and stupid. When he saw the beautiful girl with a monster, he first thought, was to save her from the beast and kill it in his arrogant ignorance. He goes to see the King with the young girl he has kidnapped.
Arrived at the castle, the King gazes le maiden, she was the portrait of her mother the queen: it was a great deal since his wife past away.
The old man could not be happier to see his only child, alife before death come and get him. But how could be possible the queen said that the child has died. He was an old tied king, and now the princess can back save.

Yet, none have to ask the princess opinion, she was happy in the forest and in the swamps. She saw her only family slaughter and betake against her will, married! No, she did not want to be married. The only thing she could hear was the monster, the beat, the demon the same creature who taught her the language of the birds.
The same beast who taught her plant medicine, warns her about the wickedness of men.
Well the night before the wedding, the princess escape from her golden cage. She went back to where she belonged. After all, she a child of the forest and will never see a human.

Professor PlusObrigado por participar desta maldição. Gosto que misture grafite com cores de lápis. Existem texturas interessantes criadas com ambas as mídias e ambas funcionam bem juntas. Também posso ver que você aplicou técnicas diferentes da aula e elas parecem boas e coesas. Levei um tempo para descobrir a princesa e o monstro, mas acho uma ótima ideia, então o espectador tem que passar mais tempo olhando para a obra para entender o que está acontecendo. Bem feito! Talvez um pouco mais óbvio para que o espectador não passe sem ver a imagem inteira.
Acho que o maior problema é que a divisão de debaixo d'água para fora d'água não é tão clara, então torna a cena um pouco confusa. Eu posso ver que você tentou replicar a luz do sol entrando na água, mas não é tão clara. Talvez com alguns samples você possa ter uma ideia melhor de como outros artistas resolvem esses problemas.
Bem feito! Gostei do trabalho, também acho que o conceito é bom e a conexão entre ilustração e conto é clara. Eu gosto que você esteja explorando diferentes mídias. Parabéns!! e obrigado novamente por fazer a aula.
