Crochet Oyster Bag

This is one of my favourite designs - the Oyster Bag! This design really encouraged me to use materials other than just yarn to capture the essence of the food I'm depicting, which in this case we're beads to mimic ice. The beads really bring a shine and shimmer that brings the bag to life!

For this project I used Yarn, EVA foam (for the base shape), a zipper for the pocket (which is on the back) and clear beads.

What inspires me most about crochet is its ability to be a vehicle for creativity, where with a crochet hook and yarn you can make anything! I hope looking at some of my pieces can inspire you to pick up your hook and create something!!
