My project for course: Graphic Experimentation: From Concept to Illustration

The course inspired me to compose a piece, that reflects on going slowly and running through life. Represented by a rabbit and a snail (these are paintings of me that I printed on the music sheet and the map). My daily meditation practice tells me to inhale and exhale mindfully, but sometimes I hardly breathe at all. The snail is stopped by sanding paper, the surface just slows it down. But the center piece is a look in the mirror: Judgment. Is it ever enough? Should I speed up? Am I lazy? Or should we celebrate slowing down and breathe easy?
