Embroidery refashion on an old sweater

For two years I've collaborated with a new, fresh craft italian magazine which sadly isn't published anymore, called Peggy Journal, for whom I created some refashion project. This was on an old, fitted grey sweater. I've started roughly sketching the lion's shape on the shoulders, with a fabric chalk. Then I've embroidered the outline by backstitch with some black yarn leftover and a wool needle. At the end I've added some fringes made with neon pink wool yarn to resemble the lion's mane.
