Helene Aubrit

My name is Helene Aubrit and I am a multi-disciplinary graphic designer, now based in Barcelona.
I am originally from France, but I spent half my life in Scotland before relocating to Spain 4 years ago and yes, I have a peculiar accent.

I have been working as a graphic designer for more than 16 years. During this time, I worked in Edinburgh for numerous renowned design and advertising agencies before joining the world of freelance five years ago. Since, I have worked with award winning agencies as well as many independent clients. I specialise in logo, branding, editorial design and also marketing & advertising. Furthermore, I am always expanding my skills and knowledge. At the moment, I am focusing on graphic animations, website visuals and photography. Additionally, I am a quick learner and always keen to learn new skills and software.

The foundation of my design approach is a very ‘can-do’ attitude, nothing is impossible as there is always a way around an issue. My objective is always to create a good looking and efficient design.
I truly believe that every client deserves the best design possible.

Working in agencies for over a decade has taught me to be an accommodative, adaptable designer and a good collaborator. Also, working on big projects has helped me to hone my skills as a designer and has reinforced my attention to detail. Being a freelancer has developed my organisational aptitudes and my efficient way of working. I see myself as a hard working person, who strives on getting the job done. 16 years in the business and many interactions with clients during that time have taught me how to develop a strong understanding of my clients’ needs and requirements, resulting ultimately on a good and long term relationship with them.

When I’m not designing, I’m usually enjoying taking pictures. I am an avid amateur photographer and passionate about photography (analogue & digital) and a bit of a collector of Polaroid cameras.
