FASHION & ME:
I woke up ‘that’ morning with a sense of great excitement. I always loved art, and enjoyed working with my hands and imagination. I never thought a single incident would change my future. I had an actual dream I was a fashion designer, and since then I have been pursuing this dream in real life.

For me fashion is a way of expressing oneself. Fashion’s purpose is not only wearability, it is much more than that, it is an artistic pursuit. Fashion is a form of beauty and art.I feel an emotional and intellectual pull to belong to the art world. Fashion-art is my passion and that feeling strengthens every moment. I am happiest spending time doing what I love in the hope of painting smiles on clients’ faces.

Today, I am happy to introduce myself as a young fashion designer, with a strong background in design, sewing-tailoring, pattern making, drawing and CAD. I also have basic marketing and business knowledge and experience, and great enthusiasm and motivation to grow in this field.

Being raised between Spain, Switzerland, the US, and Italy granted me the opportunity to engage with various cultures from a very young age, allowing me to gain strong inter-personal skills and develop my creativity. This experience also meant adapting to various school-systems and work environments, for which I credit my capacity to learn fast and thrive in competitive and fast-paced settings. I am a native English and Spanish speaker, and I am proficient in French and Italian, having studied in all these languages.

I am both a good team player and an independent and proactive worker. I particularly enjoy brainstorming and learning with colleagues who share a passion for fashion, and I am ready to hit the ground running and take on challenging projects from beginning to end.

Having a solid work ethic and ambitious goals has always been central to my experience: I am organized, responsible, and determined. I know that giving my best also requires adaptation and fast iteration, which in turn entails honesty, empathy, patience, and respect. Being detailed-oriented, while capturing the bigger-picture, is a skill I truly admire and work to put into practice on a daily basis. What makes me come alive is to marry the fashion essence with the clients' vision. I am eager to perfect my skills and start working in the world of fashion, together with professionals and the new generation.
