Introduction
This collage was created as a creative exploration of composition, texture, and visual storytelling. The goal was to experiment with different elements, layering techniques, and blending methods to create a cohesive yet abstract piece. By combining various images, I aimed to explore how contrast, depth, and color interactions can shape a unified composition. This project served as a hands-on way to push creative boundaries and refine my approach to digital art, allowing me to develop a stronger understanding of how disparate elements can come together to form a compelling visual narrative.

Supplies
Adobe Photoshop: This digital collage was created as a practice piece to explore the various tools and features Adobe Photoshop has to offer. By experimenting with layer masking, adjustment layers, blending modes, and selection tools, I combined multiple images to refine my skills in composition, texture integration, and visual balance. This project allowed me to gain hands-on experience with Photoshop’s capabilities while developing a stronger understanding of digital manipulation techniques.
Through the Glass
This digital collage explores themes of memory, decay, and fragmented reality, creating a dreamlike narrative that blurs the line between past and present. Viewed through a weathered window, the composition juxtaposes haunting religious iconography, surreal figures, and cryptic messages, evoking a sense of unease and introspection.
The use of layer masking, blending modes, and texture overlays in Adobe Photoshop helped unify the elements, creating a hazy, almost cinematic atmosphere. The red lipstick scrawled on the glass adds a final act of defiance or farewell, hinting at an untold story beyond the windowpane.
This piece serves as a visual exploration of loss, transformation, and the subconscious, inviting the viewer to piece together their own interpretation from the scattered symbols within.
