This is a great course for learning how to structure a memoir and develop your voice. Courtney's instruction is clear and easy to follow, and she does an excellent job of engaging with students through her kind and sincere manner in the videos. The forum is also a very helpful way to see other writers' work and get feedback on your own!

Excellent course. Just what I needed for the non-fiction book I am writing. The content was presented in a methodical, step by step way that made complete sense. Very thorough presentation by someone who knows what they are talking about. I like the way it was so practical, which meant I now have some useful tools I can use for the writing I am doing. Appreciated how the presenter used her experience of having a miscarriage in her writing. That was handled very well. Thank you.

I found this course to be extremely beneficial because it gives you tactical TOOLS to use right away. Not just writing prompts and then saying "write". You become a writer by writing. Duh. We all get that part. What some of us really want is exactly what Courtney provides. Well worth investing your time and money in taking this course. I'm looking forward to mapping out my stories--the ones in my head and the ones I've already started. five out of five starts.
