Final Project for Emblem Design Course--My First Badge!

Hopefully I created some sort of badge. Initially, I created a little cat logo with Illustrator, because I'd just finished an Illustrator course, and I wanted to see if I could come up with something usable. It ended up not being something I could apply to the assignment, but I'm including it anyway, because we spent a lot of time together. (It's the purple one at the bottom.) I used a lot of paper and spent a lot of time but still had trouble creating a monogram for myself, because my initials aren't very fun to work with (though I did create several versions that strongly resemble the Foo Fighters logo.) I gave up on the monogram for a while and used one of my sketchbook drawings, just so I could proceed, and I actually kind of prefer it. I spent many, many hours on this course, because German offered so many helpful resources and tips that I really wanted to expand my very rudimentary Illustrator skills. What you see here is me finally saying, "Stop, Tina, it's been a month, you're done." This was a lot of fun--I'm sure I'll never professionally create a badge for someone else, but I'm just as sure that I'll create a bunch more for myself. Thanks, German!
