My project for the Travel Journal includes two pages only, which I intend to bind, when I finish all the intended drawings. I must say, the second page with the waterfall was rather difficult, so it may well show in the painting.
I have no idea, though, how to bind the journal, whether it will be glued or sewn. Either way, I have a lot of pictures from the summer of 2023, that I mean to paint on bigger formats, but try out first in a smaller size.
I could not find available A4 Landscape Sketchbook, sewn-bound. I only found a pad of watercolor paper, so I decided to make the pages and bind them afterwards.
Finally, I bound a sketchbook with watercolor paper the way I wanted. So a lot of drawing is ahead of me now!

Bedankt voor je geweldige Domestika-cursus.
Ik geef toe dat ik erg genoten heb van je idee van reizen en schetsen, en ik vind het echt verfrissend! Ik heb voor mezelf twee schetsboeken van aquarelpapier gemaakt (kon ze niet kopen). Ik ben van plan om in mei een echte reis naar Portugal te maken, en ik kijk uit naar de mogelijkheid om ter plaatse te tekenen, precies zoals jij hebt gedemonstreerd!
