## Inhoud

### Introduction

Hello! In this unit I introduce myself, we talk about the main contents of the course and some web designers and developers that I have as a reference.

### Introduction to HTML5 and CSS3

But what exactly is HTML5, and what is CSS3? In this unit I explain a little the differences, the context of these technologies and how they are incorporated into browsers (and what to do with the differences in support between these browsers)

### Semantics

HTML5 has a series of new, more semantic tags that allow search engine indexing and reading by screen readers, among other things. In this unit we will study them thoroughly.

### Decor

We left HTML5 for a while to start with CSS3: in this unit we will talk about the different decorative tools that we have available, such as shadows, gradients and color.

### Video, audio and responsive images

In this unit we will see the native HTML5 video / audio player and we will see how to work with the images of responsive content, that is, give several sizes of image to the browser and choose which one to download.

### Selectors

In this unit we will see in depth the selectors of CSS3, which give us a lot of freedom of development, and some help from the hand of the pseudo elements.

### Forms

The forms have received a great boost in HTML5, since they incorporate a series of new more versatile inputs that reduce the dependence on JavaScript. We will see them in detail in this unit.

### Transitions and animations

In this unit we will see the transitions and animations of elements, and how we can combine them with the transformations, which allow us to change the appearance of these by scaling, rotating or deforming.

### Layout tools

In this last unit we will see a series of layout tools that will give us a lot of freedom when making page compositions: from the famous media queries to the innovative flexbox, through more discreet but very powerful tools such as calc ( ) or the viewport units.
