Wooden dowels, Formica laminate, wooden boards

Hana is Japanese and means flower - it is a collection of side tables and a sideboard. The name stands for the pattern created by the four wooden dowels piercing through the surface and simple Japanese carpentry as a point of inspiration. The project was created during lockdown when friends and family members asked me to design and produce furniture for their homes and was first realised in oiled oak with denim blue Formica and oiled walnut with a sunflower yellow laminate.
