Speed Painting in Photoshop - Course Final

The goal of this project was to discover ways to make my process more efficient and learn more industry skills. I chose a golden hills scene because I love the contras of the dry oranges and the bright pops of grasses and wildflowers.

Photoshop

I tried out all tree processes for sketches: line, value, and color. I think I'm usually best with line but the value sketches also worked quite well.

Added texture and detail

Created multiply layers on all assets with a deep blue for some nice rich shadows. Used linear dodge layers to increase saturation in the light zones.

Here I used different layer modes between assets to create atmosphere and fix some value problems.
