Filet Crochet Dress

"Club 55" crochet dress I made as a kit sample for Betta Knit, an italian wool seller.
The yarn was a recycled denim one, very representative of tuscany's historic recycling district that is Prato. I was excited to work with this sustainable yarn and I wanted to create something light for Summer, simple but with a contemporary, geometric fit, not using the common crochet stitchs. I used filet technique on two big rectangles for front and back and two smaller ones for sleeves to have a neat and minimal look. I added some stripes that I crimped to create frills on the sleeves as feminine touch.
