Pebble English

I create storybooks for ESL learners.
As an ESL parent myself, I make these books because I want the learning process to be fun for both children and parents.
I write the texts with the help of AI, and I illustrate the books with my own original artwork drawn in Fresco.

Once I choose a learning theme, I ask ChatGPT to propose a story for the picture book, and then I design the illustrations to match it. I create each illustration in Fresco, from the initial sketch to the final artwork, and I edit the entire book in Canva by combining the text and images.
When Fresco’s brushes or Canva’s materials aren’t enough, I create my own mark-making assets using traditional media—watercolor paper, paints, crayons, and more. I then digitize these handmade textures in Photopea and use them as backgrounds and elements throughout the book.
