Most of my projects are heavily influenced by TV series and movies, which is what I've always loved since I was a child. As you've seen in the rest of the Domestika projects, I always mention animated works or characters that have served as inspiration for my own compositions.
However, I believe that sometimes it's necessary to step out of your comfort zone to force your mind to search in the deepest recesses of your imagination and bring forth things you might never have considered. When I started investing in social media and sharing my work through it, I came across several illustrators who were dedicated to creating content, so the idea arose to create a community that would welcome all types of illustrators and designers, thus creating a showcase for all those who wanted to somehow share their work. This is how @congraphart was born.
Congraphart represented a departure from my "traditional ideas," as I wasn't the only one proposing different concepts to illustrate; my colleagues did too. When the idea of doing our own versions of different musical groups came up, I have to admit I was a little panicky, but also excited. Letting myself be carried away by music and creating something from a previously unexplored idea was a real challenge for me.
Tame Impala, Billie Eilish, and Woodkid were the three bands chosen for the reinterpretation. Each of the three members of @congraphart suggested their favorite band, and both the project members and anyone else who wanted to participate had to rack their brains to figure out what their music represented for us.

For me, the three groups had a narrow, eccentric, and unique feel, so I played with a blue tone for the characters to unite the entire project, adding key elements from their music videos and letting myself be guided by what their music conveyed to me. Tame Impala's moose, Billie Eilish's black tears, and Woodkid's cables were what gave me the key push to know how I wanted to develop each of the protagonists. I think by going a bit outside the box, I managed to create unique works that have ended up being some of my favorites on my Instagram account.
