### Hello!

Welcome to the course! Very excited that you are here. 
 How I like to say, I'm a designer that illustrates. In this first unit I will tell you how I went from design to illustration to find myself, today, passionate about pattern design. I will tell you why I find fascinating the fact of designing surfaces and I will make an attempt to unravel the reasons that lead us to do what we do when it comes to illustrate. I am interested in diving inside to find your own universe of references and inspirations.

### From concept to paper

To lose the fear of the blank page, we will analyze how projective thinking works. We will see some steps to follow before sitting down to draw. Then we will understand what are the parameters to take into account when illustrating more than one piece in relation to its set and we will know what the workshop project is about.

### Creation of the pattern

In this unit we will fully get to work! From the concept of continuous printing module or rapport to learning various ways to create them. I hope you find my work methodologies useful.

### How to market my patterns

Now that we have our finished patterns, I will give you several tips so that you can market them. Because yes, you can live from the design of plots. It is easy? No, how nothing in life, but behaving professionally and understanding the market in which we are inserting is everything easier. Let's take the first steps!
