Introduction
This watercolor of a video game character (Gray Fox) was intended as a birthday gift for a good friend.

Supplies
Watercolors, different gauges of pincels, acrylic paint, 300 g paper, and some pencils

Step: 1 Creating the sketch.
It takes time, but a good sketch with the proportions you want doesn’t guarantee a perfect watercolor, since there are many factors between the sketch and the final piece. However, it’s the right way to start.

Step 2: First Layers of watercolor
First layers always make you doubt the process, but trust it! Be patient and keep working.

Step 3: More layers and defining contours and shadows
Defining the contours and shadows will add volume to the drawing, giving it another dimension. If the first layers were applied carefully, this step will further enhance the piece.

Step 4: Adding Details
Let's make the cyborg look like a cyborg!

Finished
It was quite a ride because I didn’t want to mess it up, but letting go and experimenting is also a huge part of the process!

Extra!
Nice setup for framing.

Final final result
It really was an amazing journey doing this piece for practice. I learn a lot and I hope to apply it to my own creations!
