My project for course: Introduction to Realistic Figurative Sculpture

I started this course a while back with the intention of exploring different ways of creating a sculpture of a human head. I've previously tried the slab build and pinch pot methods. I should add here, my attached images are from using a pinch pot approach as my armature didn't arrive in time. That said, I've tried to apply the advice from the instructional videos on shading and texture. I aim to follow the building of the portrait from profile more closely next time as I can see the value in this approach. Still lots of room for improvement but heading in the right direction.

This was my first attempt at sculpting a real person. As I discovered, creating a likeness is hard. This is meant to be Sir David Attenborough.
