My project for course: Artistic Charcoal Portraiture: Creating Atmosphere

I really enjoyed this course and was really surprised how the technique of blocking really helped draw a reasonably accurate picture. Initial darks were added with charcoal pencil and then blended with a stump and then some elements erased with mono eraser, and kneedable eraser.

Note to self. Erase the grid lines as you work in the area. I discovered that I was working on an area and was happy to discover that I could see grid lines.
