My project in Illustrating Nature: Exploring the Bald Eagle

My love of nature and art has always been intertwined—but this course has been an inspirational journey in letting go of self-criticism and fear. Thank you, Laura! Expressing my subject through unusual tools and media has been particularly fun and I will continue to experiment to stay loose and enjoy the process. Since Laura stressed that this project was for us—I arranged, moved, or made new art, or just added a mark or two until I felt some stage of completion. An idea for an envelope to house my 4 images came to me, using materials from my process—this was the most fun of all. I so appreciate everyone’s contributions, thoughts, and experimenting—I will continue to follow certain topics. You so inspire me!

Professeur PlusCe sont magnifiques, Sandy. Vous avez été si créatif dans votre approche. Il y a une véritable exploration qui se passe ici et vous avez réussi à retenir l'énergie de vos croquis de développement pour créer une série finale. La liberté dans votre approche convient parfaitement au sujet. La deuxième image me semble un peu biblique ou méthodologique, avec une montée de tension ... Et quelle merveilleuse façon de les stocker / les présenter dans votre enveloppe illustrée. Un projet magnifique. Je suis ravi que vous ayez apprécié le cours et que vous en ayez tant profité. Bonne chance avec vos futures créations!

Oui! J'adore la 2ème image. aussi, cet aigle rose est tellement inspirant !! Si vous voulez mon avis, je dirais que je pense plus à la composition maintenant, car vos images elles-mêmes sont très intéressantes. Je penserais maintenant davantage à l'échelle et au placement.
