Much more than a meme
Everyone in Brazil has seen Chico’s Grávida de Taubaté and Bambola Star memes, as well as his famous greeting “Bom dia Brasil! Boa tarde, Italia!” and watched videos starring the “high-school dropouts”. Most have also cried with laughter at the comic performances by Carreta Furacão.
Chico also created the Além do meme (Much more than a Meme) podcast. This investigative podcast explores the untold stories of people whose lives were changed (for better or worse) by going viral. It combines entertainment and journalism and is one of Brazil’s top 15 most listened to podcasts.
